Hudson shut down the Diamondbacks in the 9th inning with two strikeouts, locking down the 6-4 win!

Hudson's been on fire! He hasn't allowed a run in five innings, dating back to his save against the Marlins on May 8th

Hudson's stepped up as the Dodgers' closer ever since Evan Phillips went down with a hamstring injury earlier this month.

However, opportunities to notch saves have been limited. Hudson's only had two since Phillips went down, with J.P. Feyereisen

being the only other reliever to record a save during that stretch. J.P. Feyereisen, recently sent down to Triple-A Oklahoma City, picked up one himself.

Overall this season, Hudson's been impressive with a 2.70 ERA, a WHIP of just 0.75, and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 22 to 1. He's also collected three saves and eight holds across 20 innings pitched.
